The following is the Department of Veterans Affairs' Privacy Policy statement in compliance with SB 1386:
The Department of Veterans Affairs web site does not collect any personal information electronically
except as is voluntarily submitted by users. The Department or our Internet Services Provider may
collect the IP address of those visiting the site. Registration of a visitor's IP address in the web
log of the host server is standard among all web servers. We do not share these addresses with anyone
outside of the department. The Department of Veterans of Affairs may collect information sent to us via
our web site, manually generated e-mail or other methods via which the users provide information
voluntarily. Any information received is used for lawful purposes of the Department and is not
distributed to anyone outside of the department except as required by law. The Department of Veterans
Affairs is not responsible for any claims arising out of voluntarily provided information.
